by- MANAS TEWARI
There is no doubt that FOREIGN Universities are one of the best ranked Universities in the world. Indian Universities are a bit low in the global rankings with the INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (BOMBAY), which is the best in India, holding the 172nd Rank in the Q.S. Global Universities ranking. That is why many people aim for these colleges. Therefore you might be one of those people who are aiming for those top universities.
However in order to get into these, there are several Standardized tests that you must appear for. So here is the list of some of these exams that you must give for admissions abroad.
1. SCHOLASTIC APTITUDE TEST(SAT)
This is probably the most popular exam that students appear for to get themselves into the world's top universities which include Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University, Stanford University, UC Berkely etc. This exam consists only of 2 Subjects which are- Maths and English. Maths has two sections - Calculator and No Calculator while English covers several sections which include Reading, Writing, Comprehension and Essay(optional but recommended). The level of Maths is very easy as compared to JEE level Maths. English can cause difficulty if you are not fluent and proficient in it.
