2020 has been the year of twists and turns. Students haven't gone to schools since March 2020 and online classes are definitely not enough. With the advent of December, the "Exams" season has arrived. Generally, without the pandemic, students would be preparing for their board exams around this time. However, due to the Covid-19 situation, the atmosphere is full of several uncertainties.
However, the education minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank tweeted something to give a little relief to the students:
On 10th December 2020, the education minister will be going live on Facebook and Twitter to address the concerns and doubts of students all over the country. The students can tweet their concerns on Twitter with #EducationMinisterGoesLive.
The main topics to be discussed are:
1. CBSE Board Exams 2020-21
2. ICSE Board Exams 2020-21
3. Syllabus reduction for Board examinations (X and XII)
4. Syllabus reduction for JEE/NEET 2021
5. Dates about other important competitive exams
6. Format of examinations due to Covid-19
Till now, no updates regarding CBSE/ICSE exams have come. ICSE board released a press post asking the affiliated schools to open from 4th January 2021.
The NTSE Stage-I exam: It has been postponed further in several states while in many states it will be taking place on 13th December 2020 in offline mode.
