Questions regarding Boards/Pre boards 2021: Answers!!!!

After my last blog, I've got a major response regarding any confirmed or apparent dates for the pre boards and board examinations. So here are my apparent Answers: Q.1:- When are Pre-boards 2021 going to take place? ANS-  There has been a lot of confusion regarding this. However, many reliable sources have provided information that there is a high probability that the ICSE and ISC Pre-board examinations will occur from the first week of January. However, nothing is 100 percent confirmed. As a student, it will be highly beneficial if you can brush-up your syllabus by the first week of January. Q.2:- What about the Board Examinations? ANS- No dates have yet been announced by either CISCE or CBSE. There is a very high chance that these exams will be postponed. However, we should also keep in mind that the govt. definitely wants the examination cycle to come back to its track. Therefore, the exams can most probably occur 20-30 days late. Even if they are further postponed, you will be ...

ICSE/CBSE Further reduction? NTSE dates announced Latest updates

We have seen a couple of syllabus reductions from the 2 major councils of India, CBSE and CICSE. However there are some more things that are being considered by the boards during these times of crisis. Read on to find more: It has been observed by the councils, that after the 30 % syllabus reduction, many schools are still not able to pace the syllabus timely. A lot of areas and small towns also don't have proper access to internet facilities which is making it difficult for them to make up with online format of education.  An CISCE official said that the council can consider 2 possibilities. Either to make a further reduction in the syllabus or to postpone the boards examinations to somewhere in April-May. One of these possibilities can be considered and implemented by the council in the upcoming days.  The CBSE on the other hand has released its sample papers for the 2021 examinations and therefore there's a less chance for further syllabus reduction.
