BEST ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORMS 2020

Best Platforms to Study Online......How Online Learning Has Paved Its Way Into Mainstream Education

In these times of  Lockdown when schools, colleges and coaching institutions are shut it might become difficult to generate self interest in studies. However there is never a pause to education and ONLINE TEACHING APPS have well proven this fact. So let us look at some of these apps which might prove very beneficial for you :
(these are not in any  sort of good to bad ranking its just that these are the options.

1. UNACADEMY

Unacademy invites educational institutions to conduct classes for free

Well this is probably one of the most popular applications for online learning. With over 10 million+ downloads on playstore this app has seen recent rise in its charts during these few months. it has over 14000 educators which help you to prepare for over 30 competitive examinations from which include JEE, UPSC, SSC, NTSE and many more.
I personally like this app due to its easy to understand UI, Great teachers and many lectures.

2. VEDANTU

Vedantu Competitors, Revenue and Employees - Owler Company Profile
Right next to unacademy, in a head-to-head competition stands Vedantu. With over 5 million downloads it has half the installs of Unacademy. The different aspect of Vedantu is that it provides lectures and classes not only for senior classes or competitive examinations but also for classes 1-8. So it could also help you complete you regular NCERT or ICSE syllabus. However i personally found the user interface a little inferior to that of Unacademy .  you may find the other one better so its a personal choice but sometimes I have experienced Server lags and problems.

3. BYJU'S

Byju: Latest News, Photos, Videos on Byju | Shortpedia News App

With Shah Rukh Khan's advertisement BYJU'S has really gained some momentum and that is self explanatory with the app having over 50 million + downloads on the play store. The thing with BYJU'S that that its primarily  useful for school children but definitely not the very best for competitive exams for which I would still suggest the above to applications. Nevertheless BYJUS uses the concept of visual Learning which might be good for some people while some might not like it.
If you find this method of learning compatible then what are you waiting for?

4.PHYSICS WALLAH (YOUTUBE)

IT'S THE BEST and I am not exaggerating. His way of explanation, his effort and everything is amazing and unparallel. For class 10-12,JEE and NEET Physics and Chemistry you cannot find anyone else with skills equivalent to this man. His channel on Youtube has nearly 3 million subscribers. He also recently launched his app on Play store which was on top of the TRENDING list for almost one week. I would recommend you to go for it this very moment.

5. KHAN ACADEMY (YOUTUBE)

Another great channel on youtube is KHAN ACADEMY. With a lot of videos and courses to go through KHAN ACADEMY  provides an absolutely free and open source learning to students all over the world. They have close to 6 million subscribers on their Youtube channel. There website https://www.khanacademy.org/ also has open source study material even for exams like SAT and TOEFL (which the above platforms don't. So go check them out.

Hope you found this article worth it. If you did then share it with your friends and also subscribe to our blog to get e-mail notifications whenever we upload. ICSE/CBSE Further reduction? NTSE dates announced Latest updates

We have seen a couple of syllabus reductions from the 2 major councils of India, CBSE and CICSE. However there are some more things that are being considered by the boards during these times of crisis. Read on to find more: It has been observed by the councils, that after the 30 % syllabus reduction, many schools are still not able to pace the syllabus timely. A lot of areas and small towns also don't have proper access to internet facilities which is making it difficult for them to make up with online format of education.  An CISCE official said that the council can consider 2 possibilities. Either to make a further reduction in the syllabus or to postpone the boards examinations to somewhere in April-May. One of these possibilities can be considered and implemented by the council in the upcoming days.  The CBSE on the other hand has released its sample papers for the 2021 examinations and therefore there's a less chance for further syllabus reduction.
